The standard DHL E-commerce service relies on Canada Post for the final leg of delivery. Due to the ongoing national strike by the Canadian Union of Postal Workers (CUPW), Canada Post has completely shut down all mail and parcel operations as of September 25.
- The Problem: Any package sent via DHL E-commerce will be held up and face significant, indefinite delays for the duration of the strike.
- Our Solution: To ensure your order has the best chance of timely delivery, we are currently only offering DHL Express and UPS. These carriers use their own independent networks and are not impacted by the Canada Post strike.
Please select DHL Express or UPS at checkout to avoid major transit delays. We apologize for this inconvenience and will restore the DHL E-commerce option as soon as the labor situation is resolved.
